Miller Paint on NW 9th takes paint if it has room and your product qualifies. Wait for an event only if it can’t. The spring recycling event banned paint, so “recycling event” alone doesn’t mean paint is OK.
It’s November 14, 9 am–2 pm at 110 NE Walnut Boulevard, for Benton County household waste: household amounts, five gallons per container at most, free. Keep within that, and ask Republic before bringing unknown products or odd containers.
The city says to call 916-693-4496 for a separate November 13 drop-off. Get approval and a price first; the free Saturday event doesn’t cover this. Don’t count on a regular transfer station visit.
Take paint to Miller Paint year-round. Benton County households also have a November 14, 2026 hazardous waste event at 110 NE Walnut Boulevard, 9 am–2 pm, with a five-gallon household limit.
In Corvallis, recycling events and paint drop-off are different things. For a few labeled cans, a paint store may be easiest.
The city bans paint there and points to other drop-offs.
Republic’s 2026 calendar lists November 14, 9 am–2 pm as the last fall date. Check location and who can come with Republic before loading chemicals stores won’t take.
