Pull out paint cans before building the curb pile. Albany sends paint to Habitat ReStore; other items have their own rules. Sort at home so the paint doesn’t ride back with you.
The city also lists Parr Lumber, Miller Paint and Sherwin-Williams. Check PaintCare’s map, then call the store to confirm it still takes paint, its address and space. One store taking paint doesn’t mean the next has room.
Arrange the furniture donation separately from paint. A reuse store taking furniture doesn’t mean it takes solvent, spray paint or industrial coatings. For chemicals, Albany points to Republic’s seasonal hazardous waste event; get its date and rules first.
Albany lists Habitat ReStore at 1225 SE 6th Avenue for paint. Call about its Tuesday–Saturday drop-off hours and space. Big Pickup and recycling roundups don’t automatically take paint.
Albany sends paint to places like the ReStore, not the Big Pickup. Call the store first; its website doesn’t list exact paint drop-off times.
The city names a separate paint drop-off. Bulky-item pickup won’t take liquid paint from the curb.
The ReStore’s site says Tuesday–Saturday. Call about times and your paint type rather than trusting old directories.
Rodda-Miller has moved to 950 Geary Street SE and takes paint only. Older lists may still say Pacific Boulevard. Call about room and your products first.

Tell staff if it’s house paint, spray paint or thinner. Bring original cans; don’t mix unknown leftovers.
Full preparation checklist →No. Use the city’s paint drop-offs.
Its open days are posted. Call for drop-off times and space.
Ask the ReStore for exact paint hours and limits. Before trying another city-listed store, check that branch and its space.
