October 13, 2026: read the City of Cheyenne Transfer Station and Household Hazardous Waste pages (the old Sanitation Division page now opens the Transfer Station page); the May–June 2025 and September–October 2026 sanitation newsletters; the 2026 solid waste fee schedule (scanned ordinance; it has no hazardous waste prices); the 2026 holiday pickup schedule; Wyoming DEQ’s nonpoint source and solid waste pages; and PaintCare’s non-program listing. The September–October 2026 newsletter listed the hazardous waste site’s Columbus Day closures; later holiday closures appear in each newsletter. The 15-gallon oil-based limit, the proof-of-residency rule, the “no latex” rule and the business terms come only from PaintCare’s listing; the city’s own pages don’t state them. The city’s list doesn’t mention spray paint or stain. A local radio story mentioned a past latex paint round-up at the Cheyenne ReStore, but we found no current ReStore paint policy, so it is left out. Peer review, October 13, 2026: reopened every source. The free-for-Laramie-County statement is only in the May–June 2025 newsletter, so the guide now dates it. The city’s own pages say latex isn’t hazardous and can be trashed once dry, but don’t say the site refuses it; that part is now credited to PaintCare.
