From PaintCare’s drop-off map ↗, updated October 6, 2026. Hours and limits are PaintCare’s. Distances are straight-line, not driving.
The yard's list doesn't include paint, and it takes no trash at all. Bring paint only on November 7, when the Eco-Depot is there.
Oil paint, stain, thinner and pool chemicals can all go to the Eco-Depot. Book the November 7 Warwick slot, in containers of 5 gallons or less.
Take it to a PaintCare store on Walnut Street, Lambert Lind Highway or Greenwich Avenue. Each takes up to 5 gallons per visit.
The Eco-Depot is households only. PaintCare stores take business paint; oil-based business paint must meet PaintCare's rules for very small businesses. RIRRC lists private hazardous waste companies for the rest.
For household chemicals, including oil paint, book the Eco-Depot at 111 Range Road on Saturday, November 7, 2026 (8 a.m.–noon, appointment needed). For paint only, a PaintCare store like Sherwin-Williams at 77 Walnut Street takes up to 5 gallons per visit. The city's everyday drop-off yard doesn't take paint.
Warwick's Range Road recycling yard doesn't take paint on normal days, but it hosts Resource Recovery's Eco-Depot on November 7, 2026. The rest of the time, use one of Warwick's three PaintCare stores, such as Sherwin-Williams on Walnut Street.
Most days the Range Road yard serves Warwick residents with proof of residency, taking yard waste, metal, mattresses, tires and electronics, but not paint. On November 7 the Eco-Depot takes over, open to any Rhode Island household with an appointment.
The city says 7 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday–Saturday, April to December, with no Saturdays January–March. RIRRC says weekdays all year plus seasonal Saturdays, weather permitting. Neither covers paint.
Sherwin-Williams at 77 Walnut Street and 80 Lambert Lind Highway, and Triboro Paint Center at 615 Greenwich Avenue. All take latex and oil-based house paint. Triboro's listing has no hours, so call first.
RIRRC's Warwick page sends motor oil, filters and propane to the city facility. Paint has no such city option, so sort your load first.
Offer usable paint to someone who can use it. For 100 gallons or more, ask PaintCare about free pickup. After December 5, there's no Eco-Depot until RIRRC posts its next schedule.

Book a November 7 hour on RIRRC's form. Keep labels readable, lids tight and containers 5 gallons or smaller. Stay in your car; staff unload.
Full preparation checklist →No. That yard takes paint only during the November 7 Eco-Depot.
No. Any Rhode Island household with an appointment can come. Proof of residency is only for the everyday yard.
Book Pawtucket (November 21) or Johnston (December 5). For paint only, use a PaintCare store.
No. The Eco-Depot and PaintCare stores are both free.
Checked: Warwick's drop-off page, RIRRC's Warwick, Eco-Depot, paint and business pages, the 2026 schedule and brochure, and the PaintCare locator (October 6, 2026). The city's sanitation page gave a 404 error and RI DEM was blocked. PaintCare store hours and space are unconfirmed.
