This is not a paint drop-off. The empty-dry-can rule comes from KAIT’s report on the September event at Parker Park; the city hasn’t posted item lists for the Lacy Drive dates, and says it shares them before each event. The city’s 2026 list puts the September clean-up at Parker Park on September 5, while KAIT reported September 12; the event is past either way. 2650 Lacy Dr. is also the city incinerator, where yard waste goes on other days.

The city’s Sanitation Guidelines list paint among items not to put in the cart.
Businesses pay at Legacy Landfill: $44.75 a ton plus 7.5% sales tax, with a $10 minimum. The paint still has to be dry, and the city’s clean-up days are for residents only.
