From PaintCare’s drop-off map ↗, updated October 6, 2026. Hours and limits are PaintCare’s. Distances are straight-line, not driving.
Agua Mansa takes latex and oil paint and spray cans. Keep the load under 15 gallons or 125 pounds, each container under 5 gallons or 50 pounds. Full spray cans don't go to the Indiana Avenue store.
The Indiana Avenue store is open Monday–Saturday. Ask about room and check your cans first. It won't take washwater, thinner, roof tar or every industrial paint.
The county's very small business process checks for under 220 pounds (about 27 gallons) a month, very hazardous waste and total stored. Get an EPA ID, send your list, review the estimate, then set up an account and appointment. The final price, based on load and labor, is set at drop-off.
Agua Mansa runs Drop & Shop during public hours, giving away inspected household products. Colors and amounts vary, so don't count on a touch-up match.
Take household paint and chemicals to Agua Mansa, 1780 Agua Mansa Road, on Saturdays except holidays. Dunn-Edwards on Indiana Avenue takes paint only, Monday–Saturday.
Riverside households can use the county's Agua Mansa site in nearby Jurupa Valley or a paint store on Indiana Avenue. Business and real estate waste can't use the household line.
The site serves all Riverside County residents, so city limits don't matter. Use the Agua Mansa Road address and hazardous waste hours, not a general landfill listing.
Agua Mansa refuses business, government, nonprofit and real estate waste. The county has a separate very small business process. A few cans don't change that.
For a large amount of paint, ask PaintCare about pickup before splitting it into trips. Cleanup debris, asbestos and contaminated material need a separate approved plan; the county site refuses them, even from a paint job.

Keep products apart and lids tight. Count all household chemicals toward the trip limit. Check the holiday calendar and alerts, and never leave waste outside a closed site.
Full preparation checklist →Yes, for Riverside County residents at Agua Mansa. Business appointments and private pickup may cost money.
No. The site refuses real estate waste. Explain whose waste it is and set up the right service first.
Not automatically. Use a drop-off, and don't follow another state's drying advice. Ask the county about a specific dried or empty can.
County rules were checked separately from the store and business program. Use the county's live calendar for 2026 holidays. No store gallon limit or private pickup price was found.
