October 13, 2026: read Macon-Bibb Solid Waste’s convenience center page and its hours and accepted-items flyers (three centers; 1010 11th Street open seven days, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the only one taking paint; driver’s license with a Bibb County address; free; no oils or hazardous liquids at any center; four-tire limit), the county’s release on the first center at 1010 11th Street (paints listed; license or ID), the household garbage page (no liquids such as paint; all garbage bagged), the Solid Waste home page (phone numbers) and Georgia EPD’s household hazardous waste page (only solids in the garbage). Conflict: the county lists paint as accepted but bans oils and hazardous liquids, and never says latex or oil-based; we tell readers to call about oil-based paint. Not found: the center’s ZIP code, any paint amount limit, any county rule on dried paint in the cart, any Macon-Bibb household hazardous waste event in 2026, and any paint reuse program.
